The VIP experience also promised a "print or pin" - pin was never offered, just a crappy, dark and uninteresting print. WTF, why didnt VIPs get *those*? So I ended up spending more money just to get that. When I asked what those were, they said that's for the $20 specialty drink that comes with the tankard. I saw they had more medieval looking tankards behind the bar. The next disappointment of the night came when they gave me my VIP "goblet" which was more like a round, plastic sippy cup (lid and all). I had just traveled over an hour after a miserable day and only had 1 night to visit so I had to stick around. This was really crappy because I had to work that night and did not intend to stick around for that long. Then I was told that the downstairs portion of the pop-up bar was not open due to a private event (hence the back-up entrance). I got there around 6-630pm and spoke to the guy at the front door, who told me the entrance was a side/rear entrance way down the sketchy, dark street.

I came here for the Game of Thrones pop-up for which I paid $20 to get the VIP experience (commemorative goblet, print or pin, cut the line privileges for the entrance and photo ops, and free drink). Sounded like a great idea, but was very poorly organized and implemented. We came here specifically for the pop up bar experience. This might be a great place to hang out and play arcade games on a normal day. This was incredibly disappointing and a big waste of time and money. My boyfriend wasn't impressed and has been to other Game of Thrones events which he enjoyed much better. I guess some of the decorations were cool, but I've never seen the show so I wouldn't know. And after all that my boyfriend didn't even like the "free" beer that came with the VIP. We were not even able to inquire about it because there were so many people and they rushed you along to serve the next person.

We were not even offered a choice of a print or a pin, which we were supposed to get with the VIP. The souvenir glass was kind of a joke and very disappointing. There were two other bars inside besides that one, and they had lines just as long. Wait time would be less if money did not need to be exchanged for other purchases. It seemed to me it would have been better to not accept money at this particular bar where you had to redeem your VIP package. There was only one bartender to serve all these people! Once we were finally waited on, more than a half an hour had passed. I'm not a big fan of beer and they were already out of the white wine. There were at least five people deep waiting to get drinks.

When we got back there, every seat was already filled at the bar. We were told we had to go to the back bar to redeem our offer. When we entered we were given tokens to redeem the VIP portion. We arrived at the bar around 3pm and it was already crowded. He bought the VIP ticket, which Is supposed to get you some perks. I have not seen one episode of Game of Thornes, but my boyfriend is a huge fan, so I came along with him.
